My parentsWeekend was absolutely an experience for me...Alvin's big fam came all the way from Bandung to visit us for brunch. The house was totally full of people...I was very happy because I have gained a new set of family ^^ and they are all nice people. The party started punctually at 11am. And guests kept coming endlessly (i think there were a total of 45 guests) and we managed to fit everyone into the small house, and my parents kept worrying we don't have enough food for everyone (but it turn out there was a lot of leftover) The main thing of this party was bringing two families together. Alvin's parents came to my parents to tell that they would like to have me hehehhehehe and my parents agreed..of course with all the speeches made by my mom..( she cried before she even said a word..so did everyone)..anyway everyone was happy..
actually i felt lucky too to get to know alvin's family...esp his parents and sister..they are very nice person...and i felt that we all share the same family culture and values, and that is important to me ..
So after today I will officially have two mom, two dads, a new sister, a new brother and new nephews :) Thanks God for always giving me the best thing in my life ^^
