Jakarta has one of the worst traffic system ever. Like today, we spent a total of 5 hours on the road and only less than 2 hours in Plaza Senayan and 30 min at the Chongsam seamstress. Unbelievable!!
And poor Junie who has gastric pain is not feeling that good in the car...well actually the three of us feels like throwing up...one is because of the traffic...second is because Junie's driver is driving recklessly that we have to focus on his driving instead of relaxing...but in the end the whole trip was fun...as usual we make stupid jokes ...and the topic of the day was "putting out wind" in public. For the three of us, we think if you give out "natural gas" in public is an ultimate embarrassment, while for some people it's not because it is a nature act.
Erin and Ely are here for a short-visit...and i am always sooo happy whenever they are here..esp with Erin here..i always look forward to go home and spent the rest of the evening playing and fooling around with her. When it's time for her to go back to her condo...I always feel a bit empty. And I told Ely I can understand the feeling of being a mother, who has to leave her child even it is only going to be an hour. I guess that is why they call it the mom-child bond is unbreakable, and that is why the world celebrate Mother's day hahahaha and seldom Father's day. But i do celebrate Father's day because Father's day falls on the same week as my birthday. And since i like to pamper my dad so much...Father's day means a lot to me and my brothers.
I was reading my cousin's blog a while ago...her husband was indeed a very considerate person..he gives her a big surprise by giving a bouquet of flower to celebrate unofficial Mother's day (according to Vicky)...
While I was counting down for my big day...so is Vicky and Ken counting down to welcome their new member to the family :)
