I received a surprise e-mail today from my aunt stella. After reading this e-mail..I feel so happy for her. At least her hard work for the past few years are being recognized by her company. It has not been an easy journey for her. Thanks to her hard work and peserverance. It's like a motivation for me personally. Anyway kuku..congrats yah..I am so proud of your accomplishment. ....so here it goes

Ladies & Gentlemen,

At the close of each year, the IT leadership team nominate and vote for teams and individuals worthy of special recognition.
2008 was tough in that we failed to agree on which team should receive a prize. It seems that several teams had a busy and productive year. However, everyone was in agreement on which individual stood out.

Please join me in congratulating Stella Jasman who manages the IT help desk and IT operations teams here in Singapore. She is the sole winner of the 2008 CIO award and will receive a $1,000 cash gesture in recognition of her outstanding contribution to our mission.
Stella left Indonesia with her family in 1998 and joined Chubb in 2000. She became a Singapore Citizen in 2007

The job description for IT is very simple:-

Keep the Chubb shop front open and ready to do business by providing a robust and secure IT infrastructure
Develop systems to support Chubb's sustainable profitable growth

Stella and her staff have worked tirelessly in support of these two goals.

Thank you Stella!
